N900 is the new Internet tablet i.e. based on the Linux Platform Maemo 5. The Nokia N900 integrates an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, up to 1GB of memory for applications and graphic acceleration. This phone is 111×59.7×18.2 mm and weighs 180 grams. It has a large touchscreen display of 3.2’’ with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It has a camera of 5 MP with autofocus and dual LED flash.
The operating system is called Maemo and the browsing network uses the protocol HSDPA and WiFi. The built in memory is of 32 GB which can be expanded up to 48 GB. The N900 has a very innovative design that comprises of strong hardware packed in to a sleek, compact design. It has a sliding QWERTY keypad.
N900 will be among the first with Firefox Mobile, the potted down version of popular desktop web browser. The browser of N900 is actually built on Firefox founder Mozilla’s technology, but the Firefox will offer all the functions of large browser on a mobile phone.
